When your loved pet is under anaesthetic, one of our nursing team will monitor them. Our anaesthetic machine continuously monitors vital signs and parameters, such as blood oxygen, heart rate and blood pressure, and helps minimise the risk for patients going under general anaesthesia. Our surgical nurse will closely watch your pet and their vitals so they can make any necessary adjustments. We also use IV fluids to help maintain blood pressure and keep your pet hydrated all day. Our nurse will be assigned to your little one and take care of them before surgery, in surgery while under anaesthetic, and afterwards to assist in a smooth recovery.
