The Role

Are you a veterinary nurse looking for more than just a job? At Ripley Veterinary Hospital, we’re shaking things up and setting new standards in patient care. We're on the hunt for a passionate full-time Veterinary Nurse to join our award-winning team.

About You:

  • Experience: At least 12 months in the field.

  • Qualifications: Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology (or working towards completion).

  • Traits: Initiative, attention to detail, and a thirst for knowledge.

  • Ambition: Ready to go beyond routine tasks and advance your career.

  • Client Skills: Love interacting with clients and enhancing their consulting experience.

The Diverse Role:
Consult Nursing: Educate pet owners, perform osteoarthritis consults, nail trims, anal glands, and more.

Veterinary Liaison: Work closely with vets to streamline care and ensure efficient consultations.

Surgical Nursing: Monitor anaesthesia, manage post-op care, and ensure pets are safe and comfortable.

Puppy Preschool: Lead classes with your fellow team members on a rotational basis, helping new pet owners get off to a great start.

Compensation:
Salary: Award Plus— Your diverse skills are invaluable to our team.

Shifts: Full-time, Monday - Friday with rotational Saturday shifts.
